Then you can book with confidence, knowing that the guide has availability and will accept your request. Once a guide has confirmed their availability, you can go ahead and submit your booking request.
Use the messaging feature on Nonlocal to contact the guide. To send a message, click Contact on the listing page and enter your message.
Asking questions is a great way to build a rapport, learn about your guide's touring style, and set your expectations. Make sure to review the listing's description, details, and highlights to clarify anything you need with the guide. Please remember to keep your communication on Nonlocal.
Don't get discouraged if a guide is not responding right away!
We understand how exciting planning a tour can be, as well as how frustrating it can be if you don't hear back from a guide right away. On average, guides reply to messages within a few days. Keep in mind that you may be in a different time zone or the guide may be traveling at the moment.
If a guide hasn't responded, consider reaching out to other guides in the area. You can message as many guides as you'd like, so it's up to them to respond to you in a timely fashion or risk losing their chance at having you as a guest.
